Particle size control: The sander can precisely control the particle size distribution of the coating formulation. The size of the grinding medium, the agitator speed and the time spent in the sander can be adjusted to achieve the desired particle size and distribution.
Flow control: The rate at which the paint mixture is injected into the sander and the rate at which the mixture is discharged after treatment can be controlled to ensure a continuous and consistent coating process.
Sanders are particularly useful in the paper coating industry because they handle highly viscous formulations and achieve excellent dispersion and grinding results. They help to produce coatings with better properties such as smoothness, brightness and printability.
